There were 27 total entries.  Liquid honey was judged on moisture content, froth, clarity, froth, and taste.  Comb honey was judged on color, cappings, and quality of comb.  Awards percentages & winners are posted above.  Thank you to Larry Roth & Danny Wright for judging.  Thank you also to everyone who participated.  Congratulations to our winners.

Last Minute Reminder October Meeting

Just a quick last minute reminder that our October meeting is tomorrow, Monday the 12th at 6:30p.m. at the U of I extension in Effingham, IL.  It is free & open to the public.  Everyone is welcome to come & bring a friend.  Please bring a snack to share. 

Dave Koenigstein & Rick Campbell will be demonstrating winter hive prep.

We will also be taking nominations for 2016 officers & handing out awards from the honey competition.
