September/October Meetings

September Meeting 

The Crossroads Beekeepers meeting for September will be held at the U of I Extension office in Effingham at 6:30p.m. Monday September 12.  The discussion will be on winterization.

October Meeting

The October meeting will be held October 10 at the U of I extension office in Effingham at 6:30 p.m.
Honey judging will take place at this meeting.  Bring your 1lb glass or plastic jars or comb honey for judging.  Certificates will be awarded for each class (color), Presidents/Club choice.

You are encouraged to bring a honey recipe to share and join in the tasting of honeys after the judging.

Bring drinks or snacks to share as usual.
